Elastic, a global technology company, sought to transform its Amsterdam office into a hub for collaboration and hybrid working. With most employees working remotely, the space needed to be more than just an office—it had to be a destination that inspired productivity and engagement.
Elastic required larger, high-quality meeting spaces for town halls, client meetings and hybrid collaboration – a challenge further intensified by the logistical difficulties of working in a city centre with narrow streets!
The large meeting room was equipped with a Mac Mini for Zoom conferencing, Crestron controllers, Lightware HDMI signal extenders, Shure ceiling microphones, Sennheiser handheld microphones, Audac audio, a Netgear switch for seamless networking and two 98” Sharp/NEC screens.
For the medium-sized rooms, Logitech Rally Bars with Tap controllers on the table paired with Tap Schedulers at the entrances streamline room bookings. Sharp/NEC touchscreens complement the installations, providing intuitive and visually stunning interfaces.
Ensuring a consistent user experience across all rooms was fundamental for ensuring high levels of user adoption. PAV provided half a day of training for Elastic’s IT team and office managers, ensuring they could support users confidently and create a manual for the meeting rooms.
Elastic’s Amsterdam office is now a vibrant, functional space that showcases what a modern hybrid workplace can achieve. It has become the blueprint for Elastic’s plans to standardise its offices worldwide, with PAV as a trusted partner in their journey.
